ROK ordinary passport: visa-free visit up to 90 days

The Hong Kong Immigration Department visa requirement table lists Republic of Korea passport holders as eligible for visa-free visits of up to 90 days. Work, study and other non-visitor purposes may require separate permission.

No arrival or departure card required

Hong Kong removed the requirement for visitors to complete arrival/departure cards from 16 October 2024. Do not confuse private paid โ€œarrival cardโ€ services with an official mandatory step.

e-Channel and Go Hong Kong are optional convenience services

The Go Hong Kong app launched on 16 September 2026 allows eligible frequent visitors to apply for e-Channel enrolment before arrival. It is not a mandatory app for ordinary visa-free visitors.
